Front and back of roll (typical configuration you will see online) keeps the blackout close to the glass and rolls the screen material off the front to clear the roll below and act as a fabric valance, hiding the roll below/behind it.

Our back of roll configuration is an MSX exclusive! We wanted a configuration that kept both fabrics tight to each other, AND the glass. The only solution was modified brackets. We take the original brackets, flip them upside down, cut off the ceiling mount foot so the fabric can clear and... bam! This unique back of roll dual is perfect for outside/wall mounting.
